643 Sports was developed to bring quality recruiting information to players and their families to help them navigate the recruiting process. We saw too many quality players not playing college athletics or playing below their talent level. We found that most families are in the dark when it comes to the recruiting process. They just don't know! They fall for the myth that if their son or daughter is good enough then coaches will be calling. This road leads to confusion and disappointment later when the phone doesn't ring.
As a solution, we developed "The Recruiting Game" seminar and packed it with all the vital information a family needs to attack the recruiting process. "The Recruiting Game" seminar allows players to climb the recruiting stairs and go from being "unknown" to "signed". We offer step-by-step instructions for players and their families along with easy to use templates. We also provide real-life examples from players who have already been successful in writing their recruiting story.
We also developed "643 Sports Talk" as a way to continually interact with players and their families and provide information that is pertinent to the recruiting process. Our social media platform focusses on Twitter, Facebook, and our blog.
We are pleased to have Marty Davis as one our principal recruiting seminar speakers. He is experienced the recruiting process as a player landing at D-III powerhouse Marietta College where he was an Academic All-American. Marty signed with the Texas Rangers his junior of college and played in their minor league system.
Marty Davis has been a D-II pitching coach where he was involved with recruiting pitchers. In addition, he has been through the recruiting process as a father. His son was recruited as a pitcher and is currently pitching in the Big 10 Conference with Northwestern University.
"Marty is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful!"
"Marty Davis did a great job. He kept each participant involved throughout the seminar and was always available to answer any questions . He went through each section page by page explaining the process. I would definitely recommend Marty Davis as instructor of the seminar."
